GLWACH Family Advocacy

The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) has a dual mission to prevent and to treat child/intimate partner abuse and neglect. FAP receives reports of abuse and neglect and provides safety planning, advocacy, assessments, and case management to service members, families and intimate partners. Treatment services are available to service members and families.

FAP prevention activities such as command and community education are the responsibility of both Army Community Services (ACS) and FAP (Prevention section), which is located within the ACS building next to the post Commissary.

Treatment and case management are the responsibility of the military treatment facility and FAP (Treatment section), which is located in the Behavioral Health Service Line department at the main hospital
